Baba Siddique Murder: Main Shooter Shivkumar, Four others Sent To Police Custody Till November 19

Mumbai: A court here on Monday remanded suspected main shooter Shivkumar Gautam and four ors arrested in NCP politician Baba Siddique's murder case to police custody till vember 19.

Uttar Presh Special Task Force and Mumbai Crime Branch arrested 20-year-old shooter Shivkumar and four accomplices from Nanpara in Bahraich district, Uttar Presh, on Sunday.

or arrested individuals—Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava, and Akhilendra Pratap Singh—were detained for harboring Shivkumar and assisting his escape to Nepal.

accused were presented before ditional Chief Judicial Magistrate Vid Patil, and probe ncy requested ir custody for furr investigation, which court granted until vember 19.

Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister, was shot and killed on October 12 by three gunmen outside his son MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai. He sustained two gunshot wounds to chest and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

So far, police have arrested 23 individuals in connection with murder.

On Sunday, police revealed that Shivkumar Gautam, a resident of Gandara vill in Kaiserganj police station area of Bahraich district, was shooter. Shivkumar h moved to Maharashtra a few years ago to work as a laborer, and in April of this year, he h invited his neighbor, Dharmaraj Kashyap, to join him for work. Shivkumar’s far, Balkrishna, is a mason and works as a daily w laborer.
