'Batiye Mat', Says Adityanath At Maharashtra Poll Rally; Talks About Kashi, Mathura Post-Ayodhya

Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath on Wednesday dubbed Maharashtra 's opposition bloc MVA as 'Maha Ani' and invoked Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to give mess of unity as he warned against perils of remaining divided.

"t only Ayodhya, we have moved ahe towards Kashi and Mathura," he said, dressing a poll rally in Washim in Vidarbha region ahe of vember 20 assembly elections. ityanath reiterated his famous slogan and vised people t to get divided (batiye mat). He invoked Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and pointed out that Maratha empire founder worked to bring everyone toger.

"I am taking inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and appealing to you to t get divided (batiye mat) because whenever we were divided, we perished," he said, urging people to vote for ruling Mahayuti and defeat "Maha Ani" (igrant or inexperienced) coalition.

Mahayuti front consists of BJP , Shiv Sena and NCP, while opposition Maha Vikas Aghi comprises Congress , Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP). He said 17th century Maratha warrior king's struggle was about country's self-respect and pride. Shivaji Maharaj went to Agra to challenge Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's power. In Agra, a Mughal museum was being built, but after BJP came to power in Uttar Presh, it was named after Chhatrapati Shivaji, said CM.

Attacking opposition in Maharashtra , he said, "I call those Maha Ani who are t bored about country, religion, nationalism, values and principles of society and nation. This work is being done by Maha Ani alliance." Slamming Congress , ityanath asked if Grand Old Party ever thought seriously about India and Indianness. He alleged that Congress and NCP doubted existence of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. 

ityanath said re was a time when Pakistan would carry out terror activities in India, infiltrators from across border would sneak into country and China would st incursions and enter Indian territory, but things have changed under Modi government.

"When we used to raise issue, Congress would say t to talk on this as it would le to deterioration in ties (with se two countries). y were bored about ties getting affected and t security of country," he emphasised. In 'New India' under Prime Minister Modi's leership, if re are any incursions on border n re will be a "Ram Naam Satya" yatra (funeral procession), chief minister ted. 

"You must have re in newspapers that Chinese army has stepped back and Indian forces are again conducting patrolling. This is New India," he said, referring to recent disengment agreement between two Asian giants in Lakh.

Maharashtra polls are t just about gaining power, but to make 'Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat' (One India, Best India) under Modi, BJP leer emphasised. "I have come to say that Maharashtra makes this mission stronger," he ted.

Polling for 288-member state assembly will take place on vember 20 and votes will be counted three days later.
