Bengal Assembly Bypoll Results: TMC Wins Raiganj By Whopping Margin, Leads In Other 3 Seats
Counting of the Bengal Assembly Bypolls is underway and Trinamool Congress (TMC) has won Raiganj; the Mamata Banerjee-led party is leading in other three seats.

New Delhi: The West Bengal Bypolls were held on July 10 for a total of four seats and today, the counting in all four seats is underway.
As of now, Trinamool Congress (TMC) has won the Raiganj seat and the political party is also leading in the other three seats.

West Bengal Assembly Bypolls: TMC Wins Raiganj
According to the latest update from the ongoing counting of votes, Trinamool Congress candidate Krishna Kalyani from Raiganj in Uttar Dinajpur district has won from Manas Kumar Ghosh of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) by a huge margin of 50,023 votes.
Mamata Banerjee-Led Party Leading In Other 3 Seats
Counting of votes for the West Bengal Assembly Bypolls is being conducted in Maniktala, Bagda, Ranaghat Dakshin and Raiganj assembly seats.

While the results for Raiganj are out and TMC has secured an easy victory, the West Bengal CM-led party is also leading in the other three seats.
TMC's nominee Supti Pandey was leading by 28,781 votes in Maniktala in Kolkata over her nearest rival Kalyan Chaubey of the BJP/

Speaking of Bagda Assembly seat in the North 24 Parganas district, TMC's Madhuparna Thakur was leading by 20,884 votes over her rival Binay Kumar Biswas of the BJP.
Mukut Mani Adhikari of TMC was ahead of BJP nominee Manoj Kumar Biswas by 30,081 in Ranaghat Dakshin seat in North 24 Parganas district.

The by-polls were necessitated as Krishna Kalyani from Raiganj, Biswajit Das from Bagda and Mukut Mani Adhikari from Ranaghat Dakshin gave up their seats to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

During the polling, some incidents of violence were reported in Maniktala, Bagdah, and Ranaghat Dakshin; BJP accused TMC workers of assaulting booth agents and stopping candidates from visiting the polling stations.
