11-Year-Old Boy Dies After Rusted BBMP Playground Gate Falls on Him in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: An 11-year-old boy died after a gate fell on his he at BBMP ground in Bengaluru's Malleswaram on Sunday evening around 4 PM. victim, identified as Niranjan, was entering Raja Shankara playground to play when seven-foot rusted iron gate collapsed on him as he attempted to open it. His friend, who was with him at time, escaped unhurt.

A team from Malleswaram police station visited site and initiated an investigation into circumstances surrounding accident, said Saidulu avath, Deputy Commissioner of Police for rth Division of Bengaluru City.
