A Bengaluru couple ordering an Xbox controller from Amazon received a live cobra in the package.

Bengaluru: We all know online shopping sometimes les to delivery mishaps but in a recent incident in Bengaluru has garnered significant attention on social media. 

A couple from Bengaluru claimed that y found a live cobra inside ir amazon package. couple, both software engineers, ordered an Xbox controller from amazon but inste encountered a live cobra upon opening delivery. Luckily, venomous snake was stuck to packaging tape, preventing any harm to ir family.

couple recorded video and shared it on social media platform X from ir handle @Tanvxo with caption, "We ordered an Xbox controller 2 days ago from Amazon and received a live snake in package. package was directly handed over to us by delivery partner (not left outside). We live on Sarjapur ro and captured entire incident on camera, plus we have eyewitnesses to same"

customer said that y received a refund but raised questions about risk that this incident posed to ir lives. "We did receive a complete refund, but what do we get for risking our lives here with a highly venomous snake?”

“This is clearly a safety breach caused solely by Amazon's negligence and ir poor transportation/warehousing hygiene and supervision. Where is accountability for such a serious lapse in safety?" couple asked.

Amazon's Response

In response, Amazon tweeted an apology, stating, "We're sorry to know about inconvenience you've h with Amazon order. We'd like to have this checked. Please share required details here, and our team will get back to you soon with an update."

snake was released safely away from public areas but couple remained dissatisfied with Amazon’s handling of situation.
