Bengaluru: Namma Metro's Green Line operations in Bengaluru will be partially affected on Thursday, October 3, between 10 AM and 2 PM, as announced by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Tuesday.

This temporary disruption is due to a statutory safety inspection of a newly constructed extension between Nagasandra and Madavara stations. The inspection will be conducted by the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (Southern Circle), ahead of the section's opening.

Key Details, Timings About Disruption in Services 

  •  Namma Metro's Green Line operations will be partially affected on Thursday, October 3, between 10 AM and 2 PM
  •  Metro trains on the Green Line will operate only between Peenya Industry and Silk Institute stations.
  •  The last train departing from Silk Institute and traveling up to Nagasandra will leave at 9 AM, after which services between Nagasandra and Peenya Industry will be suspended until 2 PM. 
  • Operations on the Purple Line remain unaffected.

 

The Green Line, a vital route in Bengaluru's Namma Metro network, spans approximately 30.5 kilometers from Nagasandra in the northwest to Silk Institute in the south. It includes 29 stations, with key stops such as Yeshwanthpur, Majestic (Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station), and Jayanagar.
