Bengaluru: In a deeply disturbing incident, a far in Bengaluru brutally killed his 14-year-old son after a violent argument about teenager’s mobile phone diction and lack of interest in his studies. far, Ravi Kumar, a carpenter, became enraged with his son Tejas' disinterest in acemics and excessive phone use.

incident took place after a minor disagreement over repairing Tejas’s phone. In a fit of rage, Kumar grabbed a cricket bat and savagely beat his son, n slammed his he against a wall. During assault, Kumar reportedly told Tejas, “It doesn’t matter to me wher you live or die.”

Despite writhing in pain for several hours from 8 AM to 2 PM, Tejas was not taken to hospital until after he stopped breathing. He was declared de upon arrival, said reports.
