'Bharat Won’t Compromise, Only A Secured Nation Can Progress': PM Modi To Soldiers In Kuchchh

Kuchchh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Deepawali with BSF jawans in Gujarat 's Kuchchh, like he does every year on the occasion. Addressing them Sir Creek, the Prime Minister said that Bharat cannot compromise even on an inch of its land adding only a secured nation can make progress. Emphasizing that India cannot compromise on even an "inch" of land on its borders, PM Modi said the people believe in the strength of its armed forces for defending the country. He further mentioned that India's enemies "see the end of their sinister plans" when they see the Indian armed forces, as he kept up his tradition of celebrating Diwali with personnel of the armed forces. The spot is located close to the Indo-Pak border.

1. People of India feel their country is safe because of you, when the world sees you, it sees India's strength, when enemies see you, they see the end of their sinister plans, PM Modi said, addressing personnel of the Border Security Force, Army, Navy and Air Force. 
2. Today there is a government in the country which cannot compromise even on one inch of the country's borders. The government believes in the strength of the army to defend the country and does not depend on the words of the country's enemies.
3. We see the Army, Navy and Air Force as different entities, "but their strength will increase manifold when they come together." Development of infrastructure in border areas was a "top priority.
4. As the country is moving fast towards the goal of developed India, you all are protectors of this dream, Modi told soldiers.
5. He also said that Kutch has immense tourism potential, and border tourism is an aspect related to national security which is not discussed much.
6. Today, Bharat cannot compromise on even an inch of its borders. That's why our policies are aligned with the resolve of our armed forces. We trust the determination of our soldiers, not the words of our enemies, PM Modi told soldiers.

8. PM Modi stressed on the fact that the country had seen a lot of positive momentum on the Atmanirbhar front with production of indigenious weapon system.
9. Keeping in mind the needs of the twenty-first century, today we are equipping our armies, our security forces, with modern resources. We are putting our Army in the league of the world's most modern military forces. The basis of these efforts of ours is self-reliance in the defence sector.
10. Our nation is a living consciousness, which we worship as Mother India. It is because of the hard work and sacrifice of our soldiers that the country is safe today, the citizens are safe. Only a safe nation can progress. Therefore, today when we are moving so fast towards the goal of developed India, you all are the protectors of this dream, he added.
