Bhima-Koregaon case: Bombay HC refuses bail to Bhima Koregaon accused

Bombay High Court has refused bail to Sudha, Vernon, and Arun in the Bhima-Koregaon violence case. Justice Sarang Kotwal was hearing the plea regularly.

Bombay High Court on Tuesday refused bail to Arun Ferreira, Vern Gonsalves and Sudha Bharwaj about Bhima Koregaon violence case.

trio is accused of having links with banned Naxal groups. Apart from three activists, poet Varavara Rao and Gautam Navlakha were also arrested for ir alleged involvement in violence. A total of 58 cases against 162 people were filed by police, during a state-wide shutdown in January following clashes in Bhima-Koregaon.

Maharashtra Government files a caveat

Sudha Bharwaj, Vern Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira were arrested for delivering provocative speeches at Elgar Parish in Pune's Shaniwarwa on 31 December 2017.
