Bhutan PM 'proud of India & its scientists', lauds ISRO's courage

Bhutan PM Lotay Tshering on Saturday said that he was proud of India and its scientists from ISRO while speaking about the Chandrayaan 2 mission. He said that despite a setback, the hard work shown by the ISRO's team is historical. He said that he had full faith that ISRO will achieve its goals for the Chandrayaan 2 one day. PM Modi had recently been to Bhutan for a two-day visit in August.

"We are proud of India and its scientists today. Chandrayaan 2 saw some challenges last minute but courage and hard work you have shown are historical. Knowing Prime Minister Narendra Modi,.I have no doubt he and his ISRO team will make it happen one day," said the Bhutan PM. Some students from Bhutan were also present among the seventy-four kids in the ISRO Monitoring Centre in Bengaluru for watching Chandrayaan 2 mission. India has decided to assist Bhutan its own satellite mission, PM Modi had said during his visit to the country.

Bhutan students at ISRO centre

PM Narendra Modi had interacted with the students following the loss of communication with the Vikram Lander. He also motivated students telling them how to stay charged up for one's goals. He also assured that Bhutan students were comfortable in the Centre. He advised students to focus on achievements and learn from setbacks.

"On must focus on the goal, and divide the goal into small parts, and add together what you have achieved but forget the moments where you failed to achieve the goal," he said to a student. "Otherwise, you would think, 'that day it didn't work out, that day it didn't work out, then you will feel disappointment, you should," he added. PM Modi also asked, "What will you tell when you return home?". The students said, "The mission was about to be successful, but we lost contact."
