Bihar: Independent MP Pappu Yadav Alleges Death Threats Over Hospital Scam

He alleged inaction by the authorities, stating, "I have given all the reports, but the government is not doing anything on the matter of threats."

Patna: Independent MP Pappu Yav on Thursday claimed he h received death threats for exposing corruption in a hospital scam, an issue he plans to raise in Parliament.

"re was a general secretary and a few officials who tried to stop me. I have ir audio tapes. A few officials were involved in a hospital scam issue, which I will raise in Parliament. Some officials want to restrict me from telling truth. re are a few or people who want to kill me for raising my voice," Yav said.

He alleged inaction by authorities, stating, "I have given all reports, but government is not doing anything on matter of threats." Yav also mentioned that he has written to Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking security for himself and his family. "I am asking for safety of my family and people who support me. authorities are aware of se threats, but y have not acted," he ded.

On exit poll results for Jharkhand and Maharashtra elections, Yav claimed y signal a defeat for BJP. In Maharashtra, he accused BJP of creating divisions between Marathi and Gujarati communities but praised public for trusting Shar Pawar, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Uddhav Thackeray.

Warning about Ajit Pawar's situation, Yav said, "Just watch how Ajit Pawar's situation unfolds, considering personal attacks on Shar Pawar's family. BJP has targeted his sister, and this is one of most disgraceful acts y could have done. Attacking a woman for political gains is a shame."

Yav also discussed Jharkhand situation, alleging that BJP's "goons" were rejected by people, who are determined to protect ir tribal culture and natural resources. " public has responded by rejecting goons, ensuring that control over water, land, forests, energy, and resources won't be taken away. tribal culture and politics won't be destroyed," he said.

On development in Purnea, Yav credited his efforts for progress on airport project and or promises. "This is result of struggles of people of Purnea, not BJP or JD(U). I have me five promises, and I have delivered on all five: airport, medical facilities, railways, etc. You will soon see significant progress in Purnea, Kosi, and Seemanchal," he said.
He urged JD(U) and BJP to cooperate in establishing Purnea as a sub-capital and setting up a High Court bench re while criticising Centre for neglecting region's development.

Purnea MP vowed to continue raising his voice against corruption and injustice, despite threats.
