BJP Calls INDIA Bloc 'Brain Dead' Bound to Meet its Natural Death

The BJP, on Tuesday, dismissed the INDIA bloc as 'brain dead,' labeling it an 'unnatural alliance' destined for its imminent demise.

New Delhi:  BJP, on Tuesday, dismissed INDIA bloc as 'brain de,' labeling it an 'unnatural alliance' destined for its imminent demise. Union Minister Pralh Joshi commented on Congress's propensity for engaging in conflicts with or political parties. 

se remarks followed Trinamool Congress (TMC) ruling out any collaboration with primary opposition party and Janata Dal (United) opting out of bloc in favor of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

"We consistently asserted that this alliance was merely for photo opportunities. It was inherently unnatural. Presently, it is brain de and is destined to naturally dissolve soon," Joshi conveyed to press.

Congress, holding a prominent position within INDIA bloc, has found itself target of criticisms from various regional parties aligning with alliance.

Hitting back at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for his 'last election' barb, Union minister Anurag Thakur on Tuesday said party chief was making 'angry statements' as he was frustrated over conflicts between his party and INDIA bloc allies.

Thakur's statement comes a day after Kharge expressed apprehension that 2024 Lok Sabha elections would be 'last opportunity for people to save democracy in India.'

"If Narendra Modi wins anor election, re will be dictatorship in country. BJP will rule India like Putin in Russia," Congress President h said.

Thakur, who was on a tour of Hamirpur district, participated in meeting of BJP's sector in-charges in Naun area to review poll preparedness for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to reporters here, Union Information-cum-Brocasting Minister said, "Due to mutual conflict between Congress and INDIA bloc partners, Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge is making angry statements." Thakur said India bloc would collapse even before general assembly elections are held.

He ded that situation of Congress is such that it is unable to win even required number seats to become Leer of Opposition.
Union Minister said Congress government in Himachal Presh is not able to fulfil guarantees it promised on eve of last assembly polls while its party leers in state are busy protesting against ir own government.
