Amid Cabinet expansion euphoria, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane highlights loss of MVA in local body
Referring to the victory of BJP’s candidate in the Sawantwadi Municipal Council by-election, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane contended that the voters had rejected the MVA.

BJP MLA Nitesh Rane on Monday contended that voters of Maharashtra h rejected ruling Maha Vikas Aghi alliance. He referred to victory of BJP’s candidate in Sawantwi Municipal Council by-election to back his contention. Moreover, Rane claimed that comeback of his party h commenced from Konkan region.

Cabinet expansion in Maharashtra
A total of 12 Shiv Sena, 14 NCP, and 10 Congress MLAs were ministered oath of office and secrecy in Maharashtra Cabinet expansion on Monday. This includes Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Jitendra Awh, spokesperson Nawab Malik, senior legislator Hasan Mushrif, newly-elected MLA Dhananjay Munde and Abdul Sattar and former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan. ditionally, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray's son Aitya has been inducted as a Minister.

However, re was considerable disgruntlement, with Raju Shetti's Swabhimani Paksha lashing out at MVA for t issuing an invitation to its allies for oath ceremony. Moreover, a section of Maharashtra Congress leership is unhappy with choice of ministers as per sources. Also, Sena MP Sanjay Raut's bror Sunil Raut has publicly voiced his disappointment on t featuring in Cabinet.
