BJP on TSRTC strike: 'Telangana CM KCR has lost grip on state'

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday slammed Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao for not fulfilling the demands of the protesting TSRTC staff.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday slammed Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao for t fulfilling demands of protesting Telangana State Ro Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees and alleged that "he of  government has lost grip on state". "BJP believes that CM K Chandra Sekhar Rao both as he of  government and as people's leer has lost grip on state. KCR's multiple delines are t working with 48,000 RTC employees on strike. last one which expired yesterday midnight was third one in last 32 days. It is a huge loss of face for KCR," stated BJP state unit spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao in a letter.

BJP's attack comes after KCR's office warned  striking TSRTC staff that y will t be taken back if y fail to resume duty by vember 5. Furr venting anger at ruling TRS government, letter stated, "It is evident that people of Telangana have lost respect for his statements, warnings and delines. y have lost trust, reliability and are openly deuncing his decisions. BJP feels, this is beginning of eventual downfall of CM KCR and his party TRS. It is also time for senior ministrative officers to give up on CM KCR. We are very confident that it will happen sooner than later." Krishna Saagar Rao also accused  KCR government of forcing state officials to "manufacture lies, manipulate documents and misrepresent facts."

Allegation of perjury

"With High Court summoning  state chief secretary and or senior IAS officials to be physically present for court proceedings on vember 7, re's a big possibility of a serious and impactful order by  high court against  state government. It is almost established by open statements me by hourable judges of High Court in last few proceedings that even senior officers are being forced to manufacture lies, manipulate documents and misrepresent facts," letter re. "This has been a regular practice in KCR's governance throughout and w  officers certainly understand that in this case y stand totally exposed. What senior ministrative officers have been doing with High Court amounts to perjury and if proven can le m straight to jail," letter furr claimed.

Strike hits Telangana

TSRTC strike has been active for  past few weeks w and y have been demanding government to fulfill ir 26 demands. Terming strike as 'illegal', government has clearly stated that main demand to merge RTC with government is t possible.  RTC Union approached High Court and case is still pending before divisional bench.
