Video: Boat Capsises During Andhericha Raja Immersion, Over Two Dozen Rescued

Mumbai: A harrowing incident happened during the immersion of the iconic Andhericha Raja Ganapati idol at Versova Beach in Mumbai, a boat carrying devotees capsized, plunging over two dozen people into the sea. 

The incident occurred on Sunday, September 22nd, as the city celebrated the culmination of the ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
