Body of US Citizen Found in Indore Hotel Room, Police Suspect Heart Attack

Indore: The body of a United States citizen was found in a five-star hotel room in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday, according to a police official. There were no signs of struggle at the scene, and the post-mortem report is pending, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia said.

"The body of US citizen William Michael Reynolds (36) was discovered in a hotel room in the Vijay Nagar area. He was a resident of Chicago. He had not responded when someone came to visit him. After hotel staff managed to open the room, Reynolds was found dead. There are no signs of struggle in the room," the official reported.

Reynolds had been staying at the hotel since August 30 and was scheduled to check out on Monday. He is suspected to have died from a heart attack, but further details will be available after the post-mortem report, Dandotia added.

Reynolds arrived on a tourist visa, said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amrendra Singh.
