The Bombay HC has lifted the suspension of three TikTok accounts, nine months after they were blocked for allegedly posting a "hate-mongering" video.

TikTok accounts of Faisu, Hasnain and Shadan were blocked in July 2019 as per direction of cyber cell of Mumbai Police based on a complaint. However, ir accounts continued to remain suspended till date causing a dent to ir ability to earn a livelihood, ir lawyers Ranbir Singh and Priyanka Khimani said. high court, in its order, held that cyber cell did t have power to direct TikTok to block influencers' accounts under Section 91 of Code of Criminal Procedure.
