4 Visually Impaired Tourists Saved From Drowning In Goa

four tourists, d 22 to 43—three men and one woman—were sitting close to shoreline when rising water levels suddenly swept m into sea.

Lifesavers Vid Gaonkar, Fondu Gawas, and Suryakant Paryekar quickly sprang into action, using surfboards and rescue tubes to bring all four tourists safely back to shore, officials said.

Mumbai Couple Drowns At rth Goa Beach

In July, a couple from Mumbai  drowned while taking a stroll on a rth Goa beach, according to police. couple was part of a group of 14 tourists visiting Goa for a holiday. 

incident occurred around 11 am at Candolim beach, where police received a distress call regarding three people in trouble.

rth Goa Superintendent of Police Akshat Kaushal stated that two couples from group h gone for a morning walk. “While y were walking along beach, high waves swept three individuals away,” SP explained. Some locals mand to rescue one woman and rushed her to hospital, while tourist police unit and lifeguards recovered two bodies from sea.
