Jabalpur: Two coaches of the Somnath Express have derailed in Madhya Pradesh 's Jabalpur. The accident happened when the train was about 200 metres away from the station. As per the latest update, despite the derailment, all the passengers are safe.

Two coaches of the Indore-Jabalpur Overnight Express derailed in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh . The coaches derailed about 200 metres away from the station. However, no casualties have been reported.

MP Train Derailment: CPRO, West Central Railway Issues Statement

The CPRO of West Central Railway has issued a statement on the train derailment accident. Harshit Shrivastava, CPRO, West Central Railway said, "The train was coming from Indore. When it was heading towards Jabalpur railway station's platform number 6, the train was moving slowly and 2 coaches derailed. All passengers are safe. The incident took place around 5.50 am. It derailed around 150 metres from the platform."
