Krishnan: In an extremely shocking and disturbing incident, students of an engineering college in Andhra Pradesh's engineering college have allegedly found hidden cameras in the washrooms of the girls hostel.
The incident has sparked protests in the college demanding strict and immediate action.

Chaos and protests erupted at an engineering college in Andhra Pradesh's Gudlavalleru, Krishna district after students allegedly found multiple hidden cameras in the girls hostel washrooms.
Based on the information, local police reached at the college hostel to control the situation.
Final Year Btech Student Questioned, Students Protest and Demand Immediate Action
A final year BTech student has been questioned by the police and his phone and other electronic devices have been seized.
Further investigation is underway.
The incident sparked anger among the students who are staging protest and demanding immediate action against those responsible. Students have accused the college management of negligence.
Andhra Pradesh CM Orders Inquiry
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu has ordered an inquiry in the matter and has called for a thorough probe.
Hidden Cameras in Girls Washroom: Krishna District MP Gives Update
Krishna District SP says there was no camera found in the girls hotel.
In a statement he said, “We have checked the laptops, cameras and other electronic devices in front of the girl students itself, no video recording was found.”
He further said, “However all the electronic devices have been seized.”
This incident comes almost a month after the horrific rape and murder of a trainee doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata; ‘Abhaya’ was raped and murdered in the seminar room of the hospital in the early hours of August 9, where she was resting during her 36-hour long shift.
The case sparked nationwide protests seeking justice and better safety provisions for women in the country; the main accused Sanjoy Roy has been arrested and the investigation is being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The former principal of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh is being questioned by the probe agency and has also undergone a polygraph test; the victim's parents are suspecting foul play.
