Delhi Court Grants Interim Bail to RAU’s IAS Study Circle CEO Abhishek Gupta

New Delhi: A Delhi court has granted interim bail until December 7 to Abhishek Gupta, CEO of Rau's IAS Study Circle, and Deshpal Singh, institute's coordinator, in connection with tragic deaths of three civil service aspirants in July. students lost ir lives due to flooding in centre's basement.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna issued bail on condition that both accused provide a personal bond of ₹1 lakh each, along with two sureties of same amount. 

In a significant directive, judge ordered Gupta to deposit ₹2.5 crore with Red Cross Society by November 30. 

This decision is based on lease agreement stipulating that Gupta, as lessee and CEO, is solely responsible for any claims or damages arising from incidents on premises.
