Delhi: In a shocking hit-and-run case reported in national capital, two traffic cops were dragged on a car bonnet after y tried to stop car for jumping red light. In an update, two mirs who were behind wheel have been apprehended and car has also been recovered.

In an official statement by Delhi Police, two mirs who were behind wheel and are responsible for cops being dragged on car bonnet for about 20 metres in Delhi, have been apprehended.

Apart from two mirs being apprehended, vehicle involved in this horrific hit-and-run, Maruti Fronx has also been recovered. offending vehicle was found registered on name of Jai Bhagwan, S/o Sh. Ranbir Singh, R/o Nangal Devat, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
Delhi Accident: Cops Dragged on Car Bonnet for 20 Metres
Two traffic personnel were injured after a car dragged both of m near Ber Sarai market in Delhi on Saturday evening. According to police, traffic cops tried to stop car for jumping red light but driver escaped after hitting both officers while y were on duty. injured officials identified as ASI Pramod and He Constable Sailesh were conducting mobile prosecution at time of incident.

A PCR call to PS Kishan Garh reported that a car struck officers while y were on duty, necessitating urgent medical assistance. Delhi Police have classified incident as a serious offense, with traffic police alleging that driver's reckless behavior constituted an attempt on ir lives. “In process, officers were dragged approximately 20 meters before car struck m and driver escaped scene. Authorities emphasize severity of situation, highlighting risks traffic officers face daily while performing ir duties,” police said. Both cops were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
