Gurugram Biker's Death: Accused Kuldeep Thakur 'Missing' After Being Released on Bail

Kuldeep Thakur, the SUV driver and the main accused in the Gurugram Accident, is 'missing' since his bail and has not come to the police to submit his DL.

Gurugram: Kuldeep Thakur, the SUV driver who was driving on the wrong side in Gurugram and rammed his speeding car into a bike killing the rider, is currently ‘missing’ and is untraceable by the police.

In a latest update, the main accused in the Gurugram Biker's Death case, Kuldeep Kumar Thakur is still ‘missing’ from the police. Accused Kuldeep Thakur still has not presented his driving license to the Gurugram Police.

Where is Kuldeep, Accused in Gurugram Accident Case?

While there isn't a lot of information about where Kuldeep Thakur is, ss per police sources, there is a high possibility that accused left for his hometown in Bihar ’s Madhubani district after getting bail.

Gurgaon Accident: Case Under Various Sections Filed Against Accused

After this the police have added another section of the Motor Vehicles Act against him. The police have added the section of driving without a license against the accused.

According to police sources, Section 105 BNS (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) may be added after receiving the forensic report.

Why Was Accused Kuldeep Driving on Wrong Side?

Speaking to ANI, ACP DLF Gurugram, Vikas Kaushik said, "The Gurugram police stands with the victim's family. We will take whatever action is needed under the law." He noted that the accused claimed to have driven on the wrong side to save time. However, no point can justify driving on the wrong side.

The police have come under the radar for allegedly giving the accused "special treatment." However, Kaushik dismissed all the claims, asserting, "There is no question of giving special treatment or concession to anyone at any moment, as in such cases, we investigate through SOPs. No special treatment or concession has been given to anyone."

All About Horrific Gurugram Road Accident

A young motorcyclist, Akshat Garg, lost his life in a devastating road accident on Sunday night. The incident occurred when Garg's bike collided head-on with a Mahindra SUV coming from in the wrong direction.Despite efforts to save him by fellow bikers, Garg succumbed to his severe injuries. According to an eyewitness and friend of the victim, the accident took place on a high-speed lane. Fellow biker alleges that the accused driver, was driving recklessly and in the wrong direction, leading to the fatal collision.
