Edayar: A tragic explosion at a company producing animal fat-based products in Edayar, near Kalamassery, resulted in the death of one worker and injuries to three others, police confirmed on Sunday.
The deceased worker has been identified as Ajay, while the three injured individuals are originally from Odisha . The incident occurred on Saturday night and preliminary reports indicate that the blast was caused by a malfunction in the safety valve of a gas stove.
Response and Medical Treatment
Emergency services, including the fire department and police, quickly responded to the scene following the explosion. The injured workers were promptly transported to the Government Medical College in Kalamassery, where they are currently receiving treatment. Thankfully, their injuries are not reported to be serious.
