Mumbai: Amid reports of Ratan Tata's hospitalisation at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and his condition being serious, the industrialist has issued a statement, giving clarity on rumours around his health.

‘No Cause of Concern’: Ratan Tata Issues Clarification

The 86-year-old industrialist has issued a health update in a post on his social media account on Instagram, requesting people to refrain from spreading misinformation.

Ratan Tata clarifies by saying, “I am aware of recent rumors circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age and related medical conditions. There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits and request that the public and media respect refrain from spreading misinformation.”

Ratan Tata Hospitalised at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital

According to initial reports, Ratan Tata was rushed to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital in the wee hours of Monday following a drop in blood pressure.

As per sources, Ratan Tata was rushed to the hospital at around 12.30-1am in a critical condition. His blood pressure had drastically fallen. He had to be immediately admitted to the ICU, where a team of intensivists, under the leadership of well-known cardiologist Dr Sharukh Aspi Golwalla, is monitoring his condition.
