Ratan Tata Hospitalised in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, Issues Health Update

Mumbai: Ratan Tata, the 86-year-old industrialist and former Chairman of Tata Sons has been hospitalised in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The businessman has now issued a statement, giving an update on his health condition.

As per our sources, Ratan Tata was rushed to the hospital at around 12.30-1am in a critical condition. His blood pressure had drastically fallen.

He had to be immediately admitted to the ICU, where a team of intensivists, under the leadership of well-known cardiologist Dr Sharukh Aspi Golwalla, is monitoring his condition.

Ratan Tata Issues Health Update, Says ‘No Cause of Concern’

Amid news of his hospitalisation and rumours about his condition being serious, Ratan Tata has issued a clarification. In a post on Instagram, the business tycoon has given a health update, asking people and media to refrain from spreading misinformation and that he is ‘in good spirits’.

His health update read, “I am aware of recent rumors circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age and related medical conditions. There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits and request that the public and media respect refrain from spreading misinformation.”
