The customer care department of RBI has received a threat call and the caller said he is 'Lashkar-e-Taiba's CEO'; Mumbai Police has launched an investigation.

Mumbai: Amid a spate of threat calls being received by airports, educational institutions, hotels and or industries, a threat call has been me to customer care department of Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ); Mumbai Police suspects it to be a prank but has launched an investigation for same.

A threatening call to Reserve Bank's customer care department has been me and caller has claimed to be 'Lashkar-e-Taiba's CEO'. threat call has prompted a case of hoax call at MRA Marg Police Station in Mumbai.

Mumbai Police Launches Investigation, Prank Suspected

Following threat call and registration of case, Mumbai Police has launched a probe and are investigating caller's identity; however, police suspects that it may be a prank.
