Sanjay Roy Raped, Murdered Abhaya: CBI Files Chargesheet in Kolkata Rape-Murder Case

New Delhi: Almost two months after horrific rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, in hospital's seminar room, re has been a major development in ongoing investigation in Kolkata Rape and Murder Case, by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) who has filed a chargesheet in Sealdah Court.

CBI Files Chargesheet Against Accused Sanjoy Roy

CBI has filed a charge sheet against prime accused, Sanjay Roy, in rape and murder case of Abhaya, a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, officials said on Monday.

In its charge sheet filed before a special court in Kolkata, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said Roy, who was working as a civic volunteer with local police, allegedly committed crime on August 9 when victim h gone to sleep in seminar room of hospital during a break, y said.

Kolkata Rape and Murder Case: Mention of Gangrape in Chargesheet
