Man Who Issued Death Threat to Shah Rukh Khan Arrested in Chhattisgarh

Mumbai: Days after Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan received death threats, Mumbai Police arrested a lawyer from Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, vember 12.

On vember 7, Mumbai police visited Raipur for its investigation in case and summoned Faizan Khan, who is a lawyer by profession, for questioning.

Mumbai police on Tuesday morning informed ir Raipur counterparts that y have arrested Faizan Khan from Pandri police station area here as a part of ir probe into a threat call to Shah Rukh Khan, news ncy PTI quoted Raipur's Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh as saying.

As per preliminary information, threat call to actor was me by a phone number registered in name of Faizan, he said.

During questioning, lawyer told police that he h lost his phone and lodged a complaint in this connection at Khamardih police station here vember 2, he said.

Mumbai police will produce Faizan in a Raipur court seeking his transit remand, Singh said.

threat to Shah Rukh Khan follows a series of threats issued to fellow actor Salman Khan, allegedly from Lawrence Bishi gang.
