According to Ajit Pratap Singh, forest department team h found wolf footprints in area on Monday night. However, since operation could not be carried out at night, four forest department teams arrived in morning and surrounded area.

wolf attempted to flee but was trapped in a net laid by forest department. With help of villagers, forest workers managed to capture and cage wolf, divisional forest officer said.
