brutal and "unprecedented" incident that took place in Ramgarh sector on Tuesday has prompted security forces to issue a "high alert" across IB and Line of Control (LoC) even as Border Security Force (BSF) has lodged a strong complaint with its counterparts -- Pakistan Rangers.

Officials in security establishment said incident of brutality with jawan, probably a first at IB, was taken "very seriously" by government and Ministry of External Affairs and Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) were also expected to take up issue with ir Pakistani counterparts.
