A Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan was killed and ar injured on Thursday after a Bangleshi Border Guard fired from his AK-47 rifle during a 'flag meeting' along International border of two countries near West Bengal.

Here's exactly what transpired:
On Thursday morning, three fishermen went out in river for fishing in river Pma, which flows close to India and Banglesh border. Two fishermen later came back and approached Border Security Force post Kakmarichar and told m that Border Guards Banglesh (BGB) h arrested m, but later release two of fishermen so that y could call BSF Post Commander for a flag meeting. BSF Commander, along with five troopers, later approached BGB patrol in water channel of River Pma near Boundary Pillar 75/7-S.
In Flag meeting, Banglesh guards did t release fisherman and inste started surrounding Indian BSF Jawans. BSF Jawans sensed that situation was only worsening and hence y decided to return back to ir Check Post. Bangleshi officials, for reasons unkwn, fired at returning BSF Jawans. He constable Vijay Bhan Singh received bullet injuries on his he and ar constable received bullets on his right hand.

Fatal injuries
Both of m were immediately taken to nearest medical facility for treatments. He constable Singh succumbed to injuries and was declared de upon his arrival at facility. or constable was n taken to Murshidab Medical College and Hospital in Baharampur.

BSF Chief V K Johri called up his counterpart Major General Shafeenul Islam over a hotline, who assured a thorough probe of incident. incident has rung an alarm in top security establishment in New Delhi with Union Home Ministry and Ministry of External Affairs being briefed by BSF.
