3 BSF Jawans Killed After Bus Carrying 36 Falls Into Gorge In Kashmir's Budgam

Budgam: A bus carrying Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers met with an accident at Brell in Waterhail area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday. Rescue teams have been dispatched to the site.

The accident took place in Brill Budgam village when a bus with 36 BSF jawans of G/124 Adhoc 404 fell in a drain.

According to reports, al least 3 soldiers have died in the incident. 

Officials said that a bus carrying BSF jawans for election duty for the second phase of assembly polls fell into a gorge near Brel of Watarhaal in Budgam district of central Kashmir, the officials said.

Around a dozen jawans were injured in the accident, who were rushed to a hospital, they said. However, three troopers have succumbed to the injuries, while others are being treated upon, they added.
