Tripura: Union Cabinet today approved Rs 2486.78 crore Khowai-Harina ro improvement and widening project involving a stretch of 135 km in Tripura.
project involves investment of Rs 2,486.78 Crore which includes a loan component of Rs 1,511.70 crore, said Press Information Bureau.

loan assistance will be from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under ODA scheme, ded PIB.
Taking to X, Shah announced, “Pacing up PM Narendra Modi Ji's plan to develop world-class connectivity in Norast, Union Cabinet today approved ₹2486.78 crore Khowai-Harina ro improvement and widening project involving a stretch of 135 km.”

He ded, “ project will provide seamless connectivity among states of Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya and reduce travel time by half. Gratitude to Modi Ji for giant stride in development of Norast.”
