AAP h on June 10 moved a petition in Delhi Assembly and sought disqualification of its two rebel MLAs -- Anil Bajpai from Bijwasan seat and Devinder Sehrawat from Gandhi Nagar -- who h been openly critical of party and h joined BJP on May 3 and May 6 respectively. Saurabh Bhardwaj, spokesperson of Aam Ami Party said outfit was expecting two MLAs to quit "legally and morally", but since that did t happen, it decided to move petition against m.

He furr said,
"Action can be taken against or rebel MLAs too and till w action has been taken against se two."

two or MLAs who can be on party's rar are Chandni Chowk MLA Alka Lamba and Karawal Nagar MLA Kapil Mishra as both of m have been vocal against party's actions and decisions. Meanwhile, a Delhi government official said once Bajpai and Sehrawat submit ir replies, Speaker will examine m.

" Speaker will go by laid down rules and will anunce his decision," official said.
While Sehrawat said that he has received a tice from speaker, Bajpai said re is merit in AAP's petition as case of office of profit against him is still subjudice.

"Under existing laws, y (AAP) have t issued a proper tice. Even on BJP dais, I h said that I have t taken party membership... re is a due process before seeking my disqualification and I have t received any tice directly from AAP," Sehrawat said.
But Bhardwaj said that if that is case n both Bajpai and Sehrawat should openly say that BJP leers Maj Tiwari and Vijay Goel are lying and y are t associated with BJP and still support Aam Ami Party. Last year, Delhi High Court restored membership of 20 disqualified AAP MLAs and referred case back to Election Commission (EC). HC h said disqualification of AAP MLAs was b in law, and refore remanded ir plea back to EC which will hear it afresh.
