Canada High Commission Tightens Security After Hindu-Sikh Protest

New Delhi: Security has been tightened outside Canian High Commission after members of a Hindu-Sikh group marched in protest against attacks on Hindu temples in Cana.

Hindu Sikh Global Forum members were marching towards High Commission in Chanakyapuri area.

Police said y h set up barrices outside High Commission to maintain law and order. However, some protesters were seen attempting to climb over barrices.

"We have deployed ditional forces and barricings outside High Commission of Cana following a protest march call. one will be allowed to breach law and order," a senior police officer said.

re have been several violent incidents targeting Hindu temples in Cana, with most recent occurring at a temple in Brampton on vember 4.
