Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday called out on Congress MP Partap Singh Bajwa for supporting Opposition in attacking Congress government on sensitive Bargari issue. He furr accused Congress MP of 'strengthing  hands of forces trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere of state."

Hitting out at Bajwa for being a party to alleged propaganda unleashed by Opposition, Capt Amarinder said Congress Rajya Sabha MP h behaved in an imbecile manner.

"Bajwa h played into hands of Akalis, who h been persistently trying to scuttle Bargari sacrilege case probe, as well Aam Ami Party (AAP) which was desperate to grab at any straw to find its feet in state, especially in run-up to Assembly by-poll in four constituencies," Capt Amarinder said.

"With his remarks, Congress MP h strengned hands of forces trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere of state, which was finally moving towards progress and development after a dark 10-year period," he ded.

Capt Amarinder said that by critising him and Punjab government over a heline, Pratap Singh Bajwa h jumped gun, thus lacking maturity and political understanding.

"I would like to ask Bajwa and or people who were quite quick on attacking me based on a newspaper heline, did y even re interview on which it was claimed to be based?" Capt Amarinder Singh asked in his statement.

Punjab CM furr asked Pratap Singh Bajwa if he could highlight event one sentence that could le to conclusion that clean chit was given to former Chief Minister of Punjab to Prakash Singh Bal in Bargari case.
