Punjab CM and Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday reacted to abduction and forced conversion of Sikh woman in Pakistan. After it was reported that a Sikh woman was kidnapped and forced to convert by local Muslim gang in neighbouring nation, Singh also tweeted about matter. He posted video of family of Sikh girl's appeal to Imran Khan and Indian EAM S Jaishankar to take up matter. Captain Amarinder Singh also appealed to Pakistan PM and S Jaishankar.

Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Sirsa on Thursday shared a video where a Sikh family alleged ir relative, an 18-year old woman, was abducted and forcefully converted into Islam. family sought help from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan over matter. family has alleged that she was converted by coercion. y said that she was threatened that her brors and far would be shot if she did t convert to Islam.

" woman who was abducted yesterday is my sister she was threatened that her brors and far would be shot if she did t accept Islam," said one of brors who identified himself as Manmohan Singh in video. "I request Imran Khan and Army Chief of Pakistan (Qamar Javed) Bajwa to help us in bringing girl back so that it does t backfire on m on Kartarpur and Kashmir issues," he added. Sirsa posted video on Twitter and appealed to Pakistani Sikhs to seek help from Imran Khan. He also urged PM Narendra Modi and EAM Dr S Jaishankar to raise this issue at global level Sikhs were angered over forced conversions in Pakistan and threatened religion.
