Captain Amarinder Singh scorches Pakistan minister, says 'Indian Army is disciplined & nationalist, unlike Pak Army'

Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh has lashed out at Pakistan Minister Fawad Chaudhry over his absurd appeal to divide the Indian Forces in Jammu and Kashmir over communal lines.

Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh lashed out at Pakistan Minister Fawad Chaudhry over his absurd appeal to divide the Indian Forces in Jammu and Kashmir over communal lines. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Captain Singh called out the Pakistani minister and demanded him to stop trying to interfere in India's internal matter.

Slamming the Pakistan Army, the Punjab CM further added that the Indian Army is a disciplined and nationalist force. He further clarified to Fawad Chaudhry that his "provocative statement will not work, nor will the Indian soldiers follow his divisive diktats". Captain Singh also tagged Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) of the Indian Army in his tweet.

Earlier in the day, Imran Khan's minister Fawad Hussain had taken to Twitter and appealed to Indian Army soldiers along communal lines. Even as the Indian government has called the Pakistan government's fake news propaganda multiple times, Imran Khan's ministers have been trying to make it appear as though the situation is Kashmir is anything but normal.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa blasts Fawad Hussain

Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa also called out Pakistan Minister Fawad Chaudhry after he made an absurd appeal in an attempt to divide the Indian forces. In a video shared on social media, Sirsa lashed out at Fawad Chaudhry and told him that he has hurt the sentiments of people who are "true patriots and unwavering sentinels of India."

Former COAS General JJ Singh slams Imran Khan's Minister

Former Indian Army chief General Joginder Jaswant Singh also hit out at the Pakistan Minister for spreading malicious content on social media. Responding to the development, General JJ Singh vowed that no soldier will be influenced by the words of the enemy. Speaking to Republic, he also called for a ban on the verified Twitter accounts of people spreading fake information in an attempt to harbour hate and disrupt the peace in the country in addition to the attempts made to create a rift between soldiers of the Indian Army.

"Twitter must ban these people and must thoroughly investigate the matter. These malicious accounts spreading fake information and hatred must be banned and strong action must be taken against Pakistan ministers," the former COAS had said.
