CBI Books Clerk Working At Jaipur CGHS For Obtaining llegal Gratification From Private Hospitals

A case has been registered against an official working in the CGHS, Jaipur for allegedly obtaining illegal gratification from private hospitals.

New Delhi: A case has been registered against an official working in the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Jaipur for allegedly obtaining illegal gratification from private hospitals that were aspiring to be empanelled with CGHS. 

"CBI has registered a case against an LDC, CGHS, Jaipur and a representative of Ajmer based private hospital and unknown others on the basis of a complaint received from Additional Director, CGHS, Jaipur. It was alleged that accused LDC while working in the Office of Additional Director, CGHS, Jaipur, in conspiracy with other accused persons, abused his official position to obtain illegal gratification from private hospitals which were aspiring to be empaneled with CGHS," the agency said in a press release.

CBI registered a case based on a complaint received from the Additional Director, CGHS, Jaipur.

Searches were conducted today at three locations/premises of the accused at Jaipur and Ajmer, which led to the recovery of incriminating documents. 

Earlier, Central Bureau of Investigation iled a chargesheet against three accused, including then Deputy Commissioner (DC), West Kameng, Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh , then Finance and Accounts Officer and then Cashier, in a case related to corruption, misappropriation of public funds. The accused have been identified as Padma Jaishwal, IAS (AGMUT: 2003), the then DC, West Kameng, Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nor Bahadur Sonar, the then F&AO, and Rinchin Phuntsok, then Cashier, West Kameng, Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh.
