With the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declaring results for the Class 12 examinations on Thursday, it was time for students to celebrate their success.
But it was truly a moment of joy and pride for the mothers of the students, who provide them with their time, resource and care to enable them to do well in their life. One such mother Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani.

Irani shared a proud moment on Twitter announcing how her son Zohr did in the exam.
She was told her followers he not only scored 91% in the best of 4, and 94% in Economics but had also won bronze medal from the World Kempo Championship.

Several well-known personalities and her followers on Twitter congratulated her.

When one of the followers asked her when she will throw a party to celebrate the success, she cheekily replied "On 23rd"
Girls performing better than boys has become a trend in several board exams and CBSE was not an exception.

Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from Muzaffarnagar both scored 499 marks out of 500. While Shukla is a student of Delhi Public School, Meerut Road, Karishma Arora is a student of SD Public School Muzaffarnagar.
Three girls secure second position: Gaurangi Chawla of Nirmal Ashram school, Rishikesh Aishwarya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rai Bareilly and Bhavya of BR SK International Public School Jind Haryana have scored 498 out of 500 and bagged 2nd position. There are 18 students at the third position who scored 497 out of 500. Out of the 18 students, 11 are girls.
