Govt employees to download Aarogya Setu app, commute after checking 'risk' status: Centre
The Union Government directed all its employees to download the Aarogya Setu app and to check the risk of COVID-19 in their areas before commuting to work

Union government on Wednesday directed all government employees to downlo Aarogya Setu app on ir mobiles and check risk of COVID-19 in ir areas before commuting to work. Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Wednesday issued an official order asking employees to travel only if Aarogya Setu app showed 'safe' or 'low risk' status.

"All officers, staff (including outsourced staff) working in Central government should downlo 'Aarogya Setu' App on ir mobile phones, immediately. Before starting for office, y must review ir status on app and commute only when app shows 'safe' or low risk' status," Ministry said in an order.
order ded that if app shows that an employee has a "moderate" or "high risk" calculated on basis of Bluetooth proximity, n he/she should t come to office and immediately self isolate in 14 days. "moderate" or "high-risk" status on Aarogya Setu appears when person has h recent contact with an infected person in proximity. "Ministries/departments may issue similar instructions to automous/statutory bodies, PSUs etc. attached to m," Ministry order re. G Jayanthi, Joint Secretary of government of India, has been instructed to ensure that above directions are strictly followed in respective ministry or department.
