Centre will take steps to get justice for striking TSRTC employees: MoS Home Kishan Reddy
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday said the Centre would take steps to ensure that the striking TSRTC employees get justice.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday said Centre would take steps to ensure that striking TSRTC employees get justice. "Union Transport Minister Nitin Gkari has assured that he will speak to Chief Minister, and do justice to workmen by speaking to Telangana government on ir problems.." Kishan Reddy told reporters in Delhi.
Reddy, Lok Sabha member from Secunderab here, and or BJP MPs from Telangana met Gkari in national capital. RTC employees' unions were confident that justice would be done when matter was referred to labour court, employees union leer Aswathama Reddy told reporters on Wednesday.

Telangana High Court h directed Commissioner of Labour to take a call on wher ongoing strike by unions of TSRTC should be referred to Labour Court or t, in two weeks to decide legality of stir. Aswathama Reddy hoped that state government would take steps to refer employees' problem to labour court.

A formal response h t come till Thursday evening from eir RTC manment or state government on employees' unions stance to resume duties. Meanwhile, striking employees met RTC officials at some places in state and expressed willingness to resume duties.

RTC employees have been on strike since October five in support of ir various demands, including merger of Corporation with government. state government h earlier declared strike to be illegal and said RTC is t in a position to concede demands of workmen.
