Chandigarh admin suspends bio-metric attendance in institutions amid COVID-19 scare

" Chandigarh ministration has taken all measures with regard to containment measures being taken to avoid spre of said disease by setting up 24X7 helpline, dedicated ambulance and fully equipped isolation wards in all three hospitals namely GMSH-16, GMCH-32& PGIMER," an official release of Chandigarh ministration said.

In India, 32 cases of virus have been confirmed. However, person has died due to virus. On Friday, Health Ministry has also vised citizens from across country to avoid mass garings. In a tification issued on Friday morning, Ministry stated that all mass garings may be "avoided or postponed till disease spre is contained."
