Chandrayaan 2: Netizens show support for ISRO, laud the scientists
After communication was lost with the Chandrayaan's lander, netizens came out in support of the ISRO #wesupportyou started trending on Twitter on Saturday

Chandrayaan 2's Vikram Lander was scheduled to make a soft landing between 1.30 am and 2.30 am. However, the ISRO Chief announced that the communication with the lander was lost at an altitude of 2.1 km and data is being analysed.
Moment's later ISRO also tweeted about the development.
ISRO ON THE DEVELOPMENT
Prime Minister Modi also tweeted his support to ISRO. He was present at the ISRO centre at Bengaluru. He motivated the scientists and thanked them for their service to the field of science and their contribution to the nation. Following the development, many netizens came out and showed support for the scientists and lauded their efforts. Shortly after, '#weareproudofyou' started trending on Twitter and many citizens posted positive messages expressing support for ISRO.

Chandrayaan-2 is India's second lunar exploration mission developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation. The mission was launched to the Moon from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 22, 2019, at 2.43 PM. It consists of a lunar orbiter, a lander, and a lunar rover named 'Pragyan', all of which were developed in India. The objective of this mission is to map the location and abundance of lunar water.
