Chennai to Face Power Cut on Sep 4, Check Timing and List of Areas

Chennai: Several areas in Chennai will face power cuts on Wednesday, September 4, due to scheduled maintenance work. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) announced that the power outage will affect parts of Menambedu, Kovilambakkam, and Pallikaranai from 9 AM to 2 PM.

• Vadakkupattu Main Road
• Periyar Nagar
• Thiruvengadam Nagar
• Dharmaboopathy Nagar
• Tiruvallur Street
• Naveens
• BHEL Nagar Link Road

Pallikaranai:

• Kamakoti Nagar (partly)
• IIT Colony (partly)
• Nagammal Avenue
• VGP Rajesh Nagar (partly)
• MaPoSi Nagar (partly)

TANGEDCO assured that power supply will be restored before 2 PM if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule. Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements to mitigate any inconvenience caused by the power outage.
