To several questions that were raised on allegations of distribution of cash by his son as well as him, minister responded, saying " entire allegations me are imaginary and re is evidence to any of it." Each of statements and questions that were asked by vocates was promptly recorded by court officers. On asked about declaration of election results and delay in his constituency, former minister said he was t aware of time when election results were out and also in most of places he knew it was only during that time official results were anunced.
Wher he was aware of fact that who was leing in elections, Chidambaram said he did t remember as it has been 10 years since it took place. Recording submissions, court posted case to March 30 for arguments to continue. Chidambaram was declared elected from Sivaganga Lok Sabha constituency, defeating Raja Kannappan who contested on an AIMK ticket by a slender 3,354 vote margin after a seesaw battle that went down to wire.
