China-Made Drone Recovered By BSF In Punjab’s Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran: A China-made drone was recovered by Border Security Force in Punjab 's Tarn Taran, an official statement said on Sunday. 

BSF said that an extensive search was carried upon after it received inputs from a harvester operator about a drone in a farming field.

“The search culminated at about 11:40 am with the recovery of one drone from a farming field near village-CB Chand in district Tarn Taran, added the statement. The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 classic,” officials said. 

Earlier on Monday, the BSF and Punjab police conducted a joint operation that led to the recovery of a drone in a farming field near Mahwa village in Amritsar district, according to BSF officials.

The BSF stated that on September 23, acting on intelligence regarding a drone in the border area of Amritsar, they, along with Punjab Police, carried out a thorough search in the suspected region.

In a previous operation on September 12, the BSF and Punjab Police recovered a drone containing 6.230 kg of suspected heroin in Tarn Taran district. Additionally, on September 9, BSF troops seized 1.180 kilograms of suspected heroin in the border area of Amritsar district.
