Bareilly Teacher Suspended After Allegedly Beating Student for Refusing to Pick Fruits

Bareilly: In a deeply distressing incident in Kaludia, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a Class IV student was allegedly locked in a classroom and beaten by his teacher after he reportedly refused to pick jamun fruits for her. The teacher, identified as Rani Gangwar, has been suspended following the incident.
According to a report, the suspension was enacted by Bareilly's Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) on Monday, July 22. The 9-year-old student's parents claim that their child was subjected to severe physical punishment by Gangwar.

In response, the teacher has denied the allegations, asserting her innocence and claiming that she is being framed.

Meanwhile,an FIR has been filed against Gangwar under sections 115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt) and 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as under the SC/ST Act.
