Coimbatore: A bemusing incident from Coimbatore has come to light where an engineering student jumped off fourth floor of his hostel because he thought he h superpowers and that he could fly.

In a shocking incident reported in Coimbatore's Myleripalayam, an engineering student aged 20 jumped off fourth floor of his hostel. student did not take this step to commit suicide but because he allegedly though that he h superpowers and that he could fly in sky. 

According to police, 20-year-old A Prabhu from Mekkur village near Perundurai in Erode district, a third year student of BTech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science), suddenly jumped off hostel building while chatting with his inmates.

Preliminary investigation revealed that student h reportedly told his inmates at hostel a few days ago, that he h superpowers in him, he could jump off any building and was also not affected by black magic.

As per reports, student luckily did not lose his life but suffered serious injuries - he h multiple fractures in his legs, arms and or parts of body. He has been mitted to a private hospital and is undergoing treatment.
